Laylay Home is a letter about the parts of a home you live in but do not own outright, or do not own at all. Rented flats, shared walls, windows that stream with water every cold morning. The kind of place where you cannot knock through, cannot rewire, and cannot always call a landlord who will act.

It exists because most home advice assumes you can pick up a drill and answer to no one. That advice is useless when the tenancy agreement forbids fixings and the room faces north. Laylay Home writes for the person working inside those limits, and treats the limits as the interesting part rather than an excuse.

Each week brings one issue. Usually a single subject taken apart: why a wall sweats, how to light a room with no daylight, what a seasonal check should actually include. Sometimes a short repair note you can do with a screwdriver and a Sunday. The writing is specific. It names the problem, then names the fix.

It does not review products for money, does not chase trends, and does not fill a page to look busy. When there is nothing worth sending, it holds a topic rather than stretching a thin one. What arrives is meant to be read once and acted on.
